Johnny Weaver Boxing Art Nelson in 1971

Johnny Weaver and George Becker had a great feud with Gene Anderson and Art Nelson in 1971. For this boxing match George Becker and Gene Anderson worked the corners for their partners.Walter Buckner is the referee. As you can see,Johnny Weaver won. This boxing match  led to Art Nelson taping his fists and introducing the "brass knuckles" matches to the territory. These photos come from Johnny Weaver's personal collection.
